(More customer reviews)I picked this set of shelves because of the design. They are as attractive in reality as the pictures. The set was easy to assemble, with each piece clearly marked, and very clear instructions. Took less than an hour, and feels very sturdy and solid.
The big problem with the piece is that there are many flaws in the wood. In the piece that I received, there is a small hole in the top, which looks like someone had put a pushpin in and later removed it. On one side, there are three small filled holes, clustered together, each about 1/4" in diameter. As it happens, they will face the wall in the place that I am putting this set of shelves, but otherwise I would probably return the piece.
Look yours over carefully for any defects before assembling .
